How to facilitate the transition to a more sustainable consumption mode, based on the respect of others and the environment? Greenlab.brussels support the entrepreneurs of tomorrow who made that choice. Projects in the field of natural resources, mobility, textile industry,… This year 22 candidates attended the Greenlab.brussels’program during 6 month. This 5th edition ended on November 9th with 11 ambitious projects with positive impact on the environment.
On this occasion, the 11 teams gave a pitch in front of a jury and the startup SHAYP won the Greenlab.brussels prize, for the innovative nature of its project and the potential to create activity on short and long term. This prize offers 3 months of incubation at Greenbizz.brussels and one year of personalized support by Impulse.brussels. He will also have the opportunity to participate to a Be Angels’ investment forum for free. The Alma Sana Project won the Triodos Sustainable Impact Award, with an amount of 2500€. This prize was awarded by the Triodos Bank, for the idea, his sustainable impact and for the team, his entrepreneurial spirit, his personal commitment and his motivation. The Lili Bulk project won the public choice award, awarded by the audience.
The other 8 projects (1000 pâtes, Cicada Energy, Greensolution.Pro, Happinest, Looops, Orybany, R-eBike et Skyfarms) are not to be outdone. Through the Greenlab’s program, they received more than 100h workshops on sustainable entrepreneurship, 120h coaching, 120h expertise and a lot of advice that will enable them to carry out their projects.
